A Canadian couple, captivated by the charm of Quebec, embarked on renovating their new home into a chalet-inspired haven. Seeking rustic warmth and chalet minimalism, we transformed their two-story house with a focus on cabin design interior. Rustic finishes, materials, and textiles envelop the living areas, featuring neutral upholstery for a serene backdrop. The fireplace stands as a focal point, beckoning gatherings on chilly days. With a family of five in mind, we extended the chalet style to an open floorplan living area, kids’ bedrooms, and a home office. The blank basement canvas now hosts cozy family nooks, game entertainment, and a wood-burning stove, embodying rustic interior design aesthetics.
